The definition of fitnessContrary to what many believe to be true, fitness is not just about looking good on the outside. It is about being all around healthy. You can look good on the outside, but be depressed on the inside. Or you may look a little bigger on the outside, but be completely healthy. This is a crazy and winding street with many different varieties. All around fitness means being both physically and mentally healthy. There are plenty of ways to achieve both of these health levels. Here a few to help you get started on your road to complete and all around fitness.There are many different way to achieve mental and physical fitness. But the sure way to achieve your goals is to first find out what works for you. If you are trying to achieve a goal with someone who’s methods are not working for you, let them know. Maybe you will have to have a varied and different version than theirs. Before you try anything new it is a good idea to talk to you doctor first. Go in for a check up and express your concerns to them. They will be able to give you professional an sound advice that you can take with you to the bank.Achieving mental fitness means you have to get off you butt and away from the television. You are going to have to stimulate your brain. There are a few starter steps to doing this, and then from here you can find what works best for you. The best way to start achieving mental health is to walk away from the television and the computer. Close your eyes and do a bit of daydreaming. Spending time with yourself in silence allows those blocked things in your subconscious to become free so that you do not get so blocked up you are not able to concentrate later. Make a habit of remembering positive moments in your life when you are starting to feel some stress. This helps with alleviating it. Setting goals and doing one thing at a time are two other great ways to create mental health.Physical fitness is also not hard at all, but it does take some dedication on your part. Getting up at a decent hour and falling asleep at a decent hour is a start. Try to get a full 6-9 hours of sleep a night. Then the next morning when you get up to walk or run you are not exhausted. Walking 3 times a week for 20 minutes is a great way to jump start physical fitness. If you tend to drink quite a bit very often it is a good idea to bring that down to a minimum. That can definitely defeat the purpose of trying to become more physically fit. The best thing to do after walking for 20 minutes 3 times a week is to start being physically active for 30-60 minutes a day. This can be walking, jogging, dishes, laundry, gardening, sports, etc. Anything that keeps you moving will help!When your fitness level is at its peak you will start every day with a feeling of being renewed and refreshed. This will then make you a happier and more easy to get along with person. And everyone loves that!Achieving fitness is actually a lot easier than it seems. It may seem hard at moments, but when you push past that hard time it all goes down hill from there. Being is a complete state of fitness brings a whole new light to your world. It also makes a lot of things that used be hard a lot easier and will make you less likely to hit the snooze button!
